The 2006 SECUMAR

Sydney-Botany Bay -Sydney Race

Prizegiving at SASC 21st June 2006

Around 25 people enjoyed the warm atmosphere of Sydney Amateur Sailing Club on Wednesday 21st June.

After a cook your own BBQ, Graham Murray from M.O.S.S. Australia, gave an interesting speech outlining the history of life saving devices,
and showed all the features of the SECUMAR range of life jackets, including inflating one to show how they really work!

After the speech, Graham presented the prizes of  two SECUMAR Survival 150N life jackets with harnesses to the winners of the inaugral SECUMAR
Sydney to Botany Bay race and return - Peter McCorquodale and Rob Evans, who sailed Peter's Torquil to a three second win from Bruce Watson in Likalizard.
